          • 1 1/2 cups butter
          • 3 cups flour
          • 5 eggs
          • 3 cups sugar
          • 2 tablespoons lemon extract
          • 3/4 cup 7-Up

          [edit] Directions

          1. Cream sugar and butter together and beat until light and fluffy. Add eggs, one at a time, and beat well. Add flour. Beat in lemon extract and 7-Up.
          2. Pour batter into a well-greased-and-floured jumbo fluted pan. Bake at 325° for 1 hour to 1 hour 15 minutes.
