To peel hard-cooked eggs, crack them by tapping them gently in two or three places and place them in a pan of cold water.

- 4 pounds brisket of beef
- 3 large onions
- salt and pepper to taste
- dash Worcestershire sauce
- garlic salt

- 1/4 cup steak sauce
- 1/2 cup water
- 1/2 cup chile sauce
- 1/2 cup ketchup

- Slice onions into bottom of roasting pan.
- Rub salt, pepper and garlic salt all over meat, and place on onions, fat side up.
- Combine remaining ingredients, and pour over entire brisket.
- Roast uncovered in 350° oven for 1 hour, basting frequently. Add more water, as necessary.
- Cover the roasting pan and roast another hour.
- Cool.
- Slice meat into thin slices and put back in gravy.
- Roast, covered, until tender, about 1 hour. Serve.
