          [edit] Ingredients

          • 1 1/2 lb. ground chuck
          • choice of seasonings: salt, pepper, garlic pepper, onion powder, etc.
          • 1 egg
          • 1 cup crushed whole wheat flakes
          • 1/2 cup milk
          • mustard
          • sliced onion
          • minced green pepper

          [edit] Directions

          1. Season ground meat to your liking. Mix in egg, crushed cereal flakes, and milk.
          2. Pat into thin cakes. Spread half of your patties with mustard, top with a slice of onion and a sprinkling of minced green pepper.
          3. Top with remaining patties, and pinch edges closed.
          4. Grill, and pop into hot buns.

          For added flavor, sprinkle your favorite grated cheese before reassembly.
